Internet Marketing

As in normal business online marketing consists of the 4 or as some say 5 P's. Only these 5 P's of internet marketing are all focused on the electronic highway's point of view. We at Deltaworks find that the 4 P's should be listed in the following order:

Promotion

Place

If you are on the net, place is not the geographical location of your brick and mortar company, nor where your server is at. It's where you place your links, you have to know what web sites, are important for your potential customers. That's the Place where you have to be as well. 

Price

Of course on the internet the price of a product is an important factor, people can easily hop from one e-store to another. It's you who has to set the price for your products, we can only try to keep the costs of your website low, so you can give your customers the best price.

Product

The product is what you make of it on the web. A website should fit its design to its product and its price. Selling expensive watches on a site that looks like it was made by a high  school kid, won't give your customers the trust it needs to make such a big spending online. The opposite is also true, but for doing business online trust is very big issue. 

The Fifth P (Personal)

As said their are marketing people who claim that there is a 5th P in the marketing-mix, the P of Personal. We agree with that but think online it is more important that online this P should be Personal.

We have noticed that adding a personal touch on your website gives the visitors more confidence that pages without.

What's also very important is that your visitor is comfortable on your site, they shouldn't be distracted by flashy banners shouting a message that they've already seen. They need to be able to easily navigate to their favored product and have an even easier simpler way to the check out.

We also like to give people the option of support and even live support, although that might not be a 24/7 one.

It should always be simple, don't give your visitors 100 different links to choose from, let them choose from 6 max 10 links on a page, otherwise it will only confuse them.
